Deaf Awareness Workshop for Law Enforcement hosted by Bonney Lake Police Department. Equip your officers with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively interact with deaf and hard of hearing individuals with our Deaf Awareness training program. Through CODA Connect LLC, your officers will gain valuable insights and practical skills to enhance their communication and improve their interactions with the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. ​***This workshop qualifies for 8 hours towards LETCSA (WAC 139-11) and fulfills 8 hours of the annual in-service training requirement for WA State police officers (WAC 139-05-300) ***Law Enforcement workshops: Participants must be affiliated with a law enforcement or corrections agency and can be either sworn or non-sworn, commissioned or limited-commissioned, administrative or office staff to participate in the workshop.
